Our Services & Care
Rosa’s Distinctive Care
The Rosa Senior Living experience is marked by particular attention to detail. We are committed to the little things that make the big difference in our resident’s lives. Here are a few of those distinctive little things.
- The Director initiates contact with the family member and/or responsible party at least once every thirty days through a telephone call, a written note/letter, or a scheduled meeting. The Director is always available for family member questions or concerns.
- Activities guidelines are being followed with the home offering at least five activities per day including van rides, boat rides, an afternoon social and an after dinner activity that is supported by some type of hydration or snack seven days a week.
- The wellness nurse conducts a wellness visit on each resident at least once a month and staff input and progress notes are reviewed at least once a week.
- The Director visits the dining room daily assisting in the serving of beverages thereby having an opportunity to interact with residents on a daily basis and to ensure that the quality of the dining experience is maintained.
- Residents receive a permanent flowering potted plant with a note from the Owner on the day of move-in.
- Every resident is assigned at least one care manager to know a resident well on a continual basis.
- The dining room is always available to residents to enjoy snacks and beverages at any time.
- A family album displaying photographs from the resident's activities is kept up to date in a visible place for all to see.
- A 24 hour calendar is incorporated into the individualized service plan which defines the normal daily routine of each resident.
- Unless prohibited by their physician, alcohol beverages are available to residents.
- Freshly baked bread and desserts are being produced daily and residents are encouraged to assist if willing and able. Resident's favorite recipes are prepared with the resident's guidance.
- Toys and activities are available for visiting youngsters.
- Family members and friends of our residents are able to enjoy the pool and other amenities on a limited basis.
- At least once a week a house social is offered and enjoyed by both residents and staff to share stories and good times together.
- Seasonal decorations and celebrations are abundant. All four seasons trigger special activities for our residents and their families.
- Fresh cut flowers are visible in the dining room, foyer, public bathrooms and model suite.
- On each resident's birthday, a cake and card is presented by the staff during one of the meals.
